Triple M Gold - Event Social Media Management

Overview/Challenge: As an Events Assistant and Coordinator, I was tasked with integrating social media seamlessly into Triple M Gold's event and promotional activities. The goal was to significantly increase online brand awareness and navigate the evolving digital landscape for a traditional radio media brand.

My Role: My responsibilities encompassed end-to-end content creation, editing, posting, copywriting, analytics, and community management for all event-related social media. I also played a key role in empowering and educating the street team and events staff on social media best practices.

Strategy & Execution: I leveraged my understanding of the social media landscape to discern which content from events and activations would perform best online. This involved on-the-fly curation of content duration, quality, lighting, and talent features, often executed ad-hoc on the day, which fostered a dynamic and creative approach. I produced a variety of content types, including short-form video, Instagram Stories, posts, and interactive stories (e.g., polls), primarily across Instagram and Facebook, ensuring real-time engagement and storytelling from live events.

Results & Impact: Through strategic content and consistent engagement, I grew Triple M Gold's social media following by 30% (from 9k to 15k followers). Average story views improved significantly by 400 views (from 200 to 600 views). My efforts resulted in multiple viral reels reaching over 40k views, substantially boosting brand awareness. I also successfully empowered and educated street team and events staff to effectively utilize social media for on-ground posting.

Key Learnings/Takeaways: This project highlighted the immense power of ad-hoc, real-time content that invites creativity and storytelling under pressure. It demonstrated that providing enough creative license and breathing room can lead to some of the most impactful and engaging social media moments.
