Two Yolks - Restaurant Social Media Management

 

Overview/Challenge: As a newly opened restaurant, Two Yolks had limited online traction and a small social media following. The challenge was to rapidly increase overall brand awareness and establish a strong digital presence within the competitive hospitality landscape.

My Role: As the Social Media Manager, I provided end-to-end management for Two Yolks' social media. My responsibilities spanned content creation, editing, ideation, execution, scheduling, copywriting, planning, venue liaison, analytics, and optimization.

Strategy & Execution: My strategic approach involved leveraging trending audio and popular reels from similar successful restaurants, then giving them a unique "Two Yolks" spin to align with the brand's niche. I heavily relied on short-form video content (Reels) for increased reach and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Execution involved a consistent daily posting schedule, strategic influencer collaborations, and a targeted PR strategy with prominent food bloggers across Queensland to amplify reach and build credibility. I also implemented a community management campaign specifically targeting individuals interested in burger content.

Results & Impact: This comprehensive strategy led to significant growth, including a 150k view reel in collaboration with Brisbane Burger Quest. I successfully grew the account's following by 50% and built a highly engaged community by targeting individuals interested in burger content, substantially increasing overall brand awareness for the new restaurant.

Key Learnings/Takeaways: This project reinforced the power of competitive analysis and adaptation: looking at what other successful brands are doing and putting a unique spin on it. It also highlighted the critical role of leveraging relevant influencers within a target demographic to effectively align with and reach the desired audience.
